Awesome 1966 Chevelle SS 396

This car is just Awesome! If I had to pick a Chevelle this would be the car! This very nicely restored 1966 Chevelle SS 396 is so clean that you can easily see your reflection in it's Garnet Red paint.

This 66 Chevelle SS 396 is a true SS 396 equipped car. Backing up this 396 cubic inch engine is a manual 4 speed transmission, a 12 bolt posi rear end with 4.56 gears, and strange axles. I would imagine a car this nice would not have any problem placing first in most local car shows. I also bet it turns more than a few heads on those summer cruise nights!

1966 Chevelle Crazy Burnout

Here is a Bad Ass 1966 Chevelle, check out the nice looking cowl induction hood that covers the stout 350 cubic inch motor that hides just under it. This Chevelle is also sporting a Muncie M21 4 speed transmission and a 12 bolt posi rear end sporting 4.11 gears!

1966 Chevelle SS

The 1966 Chevelle SS or Super Sport as it is known was the most sought after trim package on the 66 Chevelle. The Super Sport option added an additional $300 to the price of the standard 1966 Chevelle, but it included an upgraded hood with simulated air vents, new fender moldings, SS 396 badges, and a blacked out grill with SS 396 badges.

Even though the appearance of the 1966 Chevelle Super Sport is a little fancier, most people bought these cars because of the engine combination's that were available, and the performance that they produced. The base engine was a 396 cubic inch engine that produced 235 horsepower, there was also a 396 cubic inch engine that produced 260 horsepower,and the engine that made the 1966 Chevelle SS 396 famous the 375 horsepower 396!

1966 Chevelle Malibu

The 1966 Chevelle Malibu was the mid level model of the Chevelle in 1966. The 66 Chevelle Malibu was probably the most popular version of the car in 1966. Although not as flashy as the Super Sport version. The 66 Chevelle Malibu offered both performance and affordability. There were several different combination that you could order the Malibu and below you will find all the different combination's of the 1966 Chevelle Malibu along with their door and engine combination.

1966 chevelle 300

The 1966 Chevelle 300 was the base model Chevelle in 1966. Although the 300 series was not as popular as the Malibu and the Super Sport there were still a lot of these cars sold to price concerned consumers. It was available in two versions the 66 Chevelle 300 Sedan and the 66 Chevelle 300 Delux with several different versions of each.
